Social Work Community Participated in Youth Policy Document Vision Workshop

The Youth Policy Document Vision Workshop organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Balıkesir was held with broad participation. The event, in which Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University Social Work Community also actively participated, was organized to ensure more effective participation of young people in social life and to develop policies that meet their needs. The workshop focused on a number of important topics such as disaster management, science and technology, environment, education, youth health, and employment. In the workshop, where our faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih ALTUN and students in the Social Work Community participated, services planned to be implemented in the field were discussed. Participants contributed to the shaping of future policies by expressing their solution suggestions regarding the problems of young people. This productive meeting provided an important platform for the development of a policy that is sensitive to the needs of young people.
