"Seminar Presentations-2022" events started

The first of the "Seminar Presentations-2022" online academic activities planned by the Department of Social Work was held on May 13, 2022. Graduate students made their presentations on the thesis proposals they plan to study on. Lecturers of Social Work Department, graduate students, and undergraduate students participated in the program.

 

Cengiz TAVUKÇU, a graduate student, gave information about the subject, problem, method, purpose, and importance of the thesis titled “Investigation of the Effects of Work Monotonic and Job-Related Tension of Staff Working in Social Service Organizations on Physical/Mental Symptoms with the Intention to Leave Work: The Çanakkale Project Sample” based on quantitative research, which he plans to propose, under the supervision of Dr. Lecturer Fikri KELEŞOĞLU. He stated that the aim of the thesis is to reveal the relationship between the work monotony and job-related tension of the staff working in social service organizations due to reasons such as excessive workload and repetitive work routines and to determine the physical and mental symptoms that occur due to these reasons.

 

Münire AKYÜZ, a graduate student, gave information about the subject, problem, method, purpose, and importance of the thesis titled “The Effect of Music as a Form of Self-Expression in Romani Ensembles on Life Satisfaction: The Case of İzmir Tepecik” based on quantitative research, which she plans to propose, under the supervision of Dr. Lecturer Fikri KELEŞOĞLU. She stated that the aim of the research is to reveal the relationship between music, which has become a means of self-expression in a way with definitions such as "living" and "lifestyle", life satisfaction levels, and to emphasize the healing and supportive effect of music on Romani Ensembles.
