Our Faculty Member Attended the District Coordination, Monitoring and Evaluation Meeting on Combating Violence Against Women

On September 25, 2025, a faculty member from the Social Work Department of Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University's Faculty of Health Sciences participated in the District Coordination, Monitoring, and Evaluation Meeting on Combating Violence Against Women, organized by the Bandırma Social Services Center under the coordination of the Bandırma District Governorate. During the meeting, we evaluated the local effectiveness of combating violence against women, strengthened inter-institutional coordination, and implemented social service practices in the field. We also provided academic insights and recommendations, particularly regarding expanding psychosocial support services for women victims of violence, strengthening early intervention mechanisms, and increasing community-based awareness campaigns.
