One Profession, Four Institutions: Social Work Case Study Event Took Place

Our Social Work Department, in partnership with the Social Work Community and the Science Communication Office, held the "One Profession, Four Institutions: Social Work Case Analysis" event.

During the event, Social Work Specialist Nida İnam from the Ministry of Justice, Bandırma Judicial Support and Victim Services Directorate; Social Work Specialist Hüseyin Eker from the Ministry of Health, Bandırma Training and Research Hospital; Social Work Specialist Ayşen Gündüz from the Ministry of Family and Social Services, Bandırma District Social Service Center; and Social Work Specialist Baybars Kaan Yeşilırmak from the Balıkesir Yeşilay Counseling Center, analyzed a common social work case under the moderation of our department's Research Assistant Dr. Mücahit Baykul. The social work specialists shared risk analysis, effective resource utilization, and other practical awareness skills needed in the field with the students through the case analysis, and also answered the students' questions about the case.

At the end of the event, certificates of appreciation were presented to the guest social work specialists.
