Experts at the Community Mental Health Center carried out group work with our students within the scope of the Group-Focused Social Work Practices Course

Psychologist Psychodramatist Murat YATMAZ, Psychologist Nedim ÇİFTÇİ and Specialist from Bandırma State Hospital Community Mental Health Center. Social Worker Ercan BAKIR, they participated as guests in the Group-Focused Social Work Practices course coordinated by our department faculty member Assoc. Dr. Fikri KELEŞOĞLU. The event was planned in two parts. In the first session, valuable information was shared on community mental health and group work. In the second session, a group study was held under the leadership of experts and with the participation of department students.

In the workshop, which included an interactive discussion based on real case examples, our students had the opportunity to obtain detailed information about the application areas and difficulties encountered in group work.

This course, which took place with the participation of Community Mental Health Center experts, contributed to the development of our students' professional knowledge and skills and increased their awareness in the field of group work and mental health. Students stated that such events are of great importance for their professional development and expressed their gratitude to everyone who contributed to the organization.
