Don't Decide for Me, I Have to Participate in the Decision

The program titled "Disabled Individual's Participation in Decision-Making" was organized by the Social Work Department, Social Work Community in cooperation with Izge Disabled Association. The event, held on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at the Prof. Dr. Aziz SANCAR Conference Hall, began with the opening speech of the Social Work Department Head Prof. Dr. Recep YILDIZ on discovering the abilities of disabled individuals and presenting them to the benefit of society. The program then continued with our invitees Nail YURDUSEV, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Izge Disabled Association, Ferda KARAKAŞ, Feyim KAYALIK and Yavuz ASLANKURT, informing them about what is done during the participation of disabled individuals in decision-making. It ended with a Q&A session with the participation of students and the presentation of certificates of appreciation by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih ALTUN, Res. Asst. Erman ALPAGUT, Res. Asst. Sultan TEKİNYER and Res. Asst. Mücahit BAYKUL.
