BANU Young Green Crescent Community Re-established

The Young Green Crescent Society at Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University, which had been inactive for some time, has been re-established under the leadership of the Social Work Department. The reactivation of the society was made possible through the initiatives of our Head of the Social Work Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun, and our faculty member, Research Assistant Dr. Mücahit Baykul.

Nurefşan Tukat, a first-year student in the Social Work Department, serves as the founding president of the society, while Research Assistant Dr. Mücahit Baykul acts as its academic advisor.

The society held its first event with a program titled "Case Analysis with YEDAM during Green Crescent Week (March 1-7)," jointly organized by our Social Work Department and the Social Work Society.

Furthermore, a meeting was held on Wednesday, March 4, 2025, at 8:00 PM in the BANU Young Office Has Oda, with the participation of our department head, to introduce students who wish to participate in the society.

As the Social Work Department, we will continue to carry out activities that support the university's social contribution policies, in addition to our departmental activities.
