A courtesy visit from the Bandırma Hicri Ercili Children's Homes Complex Directorate to our Department Head.

Barış DEMİR, Director of Bandırma Hicri Ercili Children's Homes Complex, accompanied by teacher Filiz KARAMAN, visited Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih ALTUN, Head of the Social Work Department at Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University Faculty of Health Sciences, in his office. Research Assistant Dr. Mücahit BAYKUL, a faculty member from the department, was also present during the visit.

The meeting focused on strengthening the services provided to the children residing in the Children's Homes Complex, including the participation of university students in volunteer support activities, supporting social support programs for children, and exploring collaboration opportunities to enhance students' field experience.

It was assessed that the visit would contribute both to improving the quality of services provided to children and to increasing students' awareness and participation in social work practices.
