Department of Nutrition Sciences is a science that examines types, quantities, properties of food and nutrients and their role in biochemical and physiological processes, food composition, physical and chemical properties, the effects of the processes applied on foods from production to consumption on nutrients and also the components that cause food pollution by being contaminated with food in various ways and biological processes and molecular mechanisms of foods and their effects on health.
