Breast Cancer Awareness Seminar Held at Our University

Within the scope of our seminar series "Turkey at the Beginning of the Century", a Breast Cancer Awareness Seminar was organized in cooperation with our University's Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Health Sciences and Faculty of Communication. The seminar, in which our Department's Assistant Professor Ramazan Mert Atan was the speaker, was held in Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Conference Hall.

The seminar was attended by the esteemed wife of our Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Boz, our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ebru Kaya Mutlu, our academic and administrative staff, our students and citizens.

The seminar, which started with a moment of silence and the singing of our National Anthem, was attended by our Faculty of Communication Dean Prof. Dr. Hatice Aydın with her presentation titled "The Role of Communication in Disease", our Faculty of Health Sciences Assistant Professor Ramazan Mert Atan with her presentation titled "The Role of Nutrition in Disease", our Faculty of Health Sciences Assistant Professor Derya Azim with her presentation titled "The Role of Exercise in Disease" and our Faculty of Medicine Assistant Professor Lecturer Yeşim Akdeniz contributed as a speaker with her presentation titled "Importance of Early Diagnosis and Treatment in Disease".

The seminar, which attracted great interest from our students and staff, ended with the presentation of certificates of appreciation by our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ebru Kaya Mutlu to our Dean of the Faculty of Communication Prof. Dr. Hatice Aydın, our Faculty of Health Sciences Dr. Lecturer Ramazan Mert Atan, our Faculty of Health Sciences Dr. Lecturer Derya Azim and our Faculty of Medicine Dr. Lecturer Yeşim Akdeniz for their valuable presentations and contributions to the seminar.
