Message from Dean

 

 

 

Dear Students;

 

Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University, established with the mission of "A Bridge to the Future" by Law No. 6640 published in the Official Gazette dated April 23, 2015, and numbered 29335, began its academic life with the educational institutions taken over from Balıkesir University, which has a long-standing history of twenty-three years. With Law No. 6640, published in the Official Gazette dated April 23, 2015, and numbered 29335, Bandırma Health Vocational School, affiliated with Balıkesir University, was transformed into a Faculty, its name and affiliation changed to the Faculty of Health Sciences. Our Faculty includes the following departments: Nursing, Nutrition and Dietetics, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Health Management, and Social Work.

In our faculty's departments, guided by current knowledge and contemporary technologies, we have a vision of training healthcare professionals who meet the needs of our country with an educational approach that aims for excellence and shapes inquisitive minds. We aim to contribute individuals to the future of the healthcare sector who are well-equipped, effective, and competent, respectful of academic and cultural values, embracing innovative thinking, possessing an entrepreneurial spirit, perfectly internalizing ethical values, prioritizing social responsibility, and aiming to take a leading role on national and international platforms.

 

Creating an equal, fair, and happy working environment for all our academic and administrative staff, and most importantly, our students, will be our most important goal.
