Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University was established on April 23, 2015, by Law No. 6640, published in the Official Gazette (No. 29335), with the mission of being a “Bridge to the Future.” The University began its academic journey by incorporating educational institutions transferred from Balıkesir University, which has a long-standing academic background.

 

Within the same legal framework, Bandırma School of Health, previously affiliated with Balıkesir University, was transformed into the Faculty of Health Sciences. Today, our Faculty comprises the Departments of Nursing, Nutrition and Dietetics, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Health Management, and Social Work.

 

Our Faculty is committed to educating qualified healthcare professionals who can meet the evolving needs of society through an educational approach that integrates up-to-date knowledge and modern technologies. We aim to foster individuals who are well-equipped, innovative, ethically responsible, socially aware, and respectful of academic and cultural values, while also encouraging entrepreneurial thinking and a commitment to excellence at both national and international levels.

 

Creating a fair, inclusive, and supportive academic environment for our students, as well as for our academic and administrative staff, remains a primary goal of ours.
