In collaboration with our Science Communication Office, our Department of Social Work, and our Social Work Club, we held the event titled “One Profession, Four Institutions: Social Work Case Analysis.”

The event featured Social Work Specialist Nida İnam from the Ministry of Justice’s Bandırma Judicial and Victim Services Directorate, Social Work Specialist Hüseyin Eker from the Ministry of Health’s Bandırma Training and Research Hospital, Social Work Specialist Ayşen Gündüz from the Bandırma District Social Services Center Directorate under the Ministry of Family and Social Services, and Social Work Specialist Baybars Kaan Yeşilırmak from the Balıkesir Yeşilay Counseling Center, analyzed a joint social work case under the moderation of Research Assistant Dr. Mücahit Baykul from our University’s Department of Social Work. 

The social service specialists shared practical insights with the students—including risk analysis, effective use of resources, and other field-specific considerations—through the case analysis, and also answered the students’ questions regarding the case.

At the conclusion of the event, certificates of appreciation were presented to the guest speakers.
