Organised under the coordination of our University’s Career Development Application and Research Centre (BANÜ-KAGEM), in collaboration with our Faculties and Student Societies, the traditional Career Days – now in their tenth year – will begin on Tuesday, 20 May 2025.
 
As in previous years, Career Days will bring distinguished guests from leading national companies together with our students. Over the course of the three-day event, career opportunities, sector-specific experiences and professional development areas will be explored across a wide range of fields, including human resources, healthcare, media, design, diplomacy, artificial intelligence, engineering and energy.

On the first day of the event, Tuesday 20 May at 10.30 am, Human Resources Director Tayfun Pirpir will deliver a presentation titled “Career Strategies for Future Professionals: Preparing for the Business World from a Human Resources Perspective” in the Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar Conference Hall. At 11.30 am in the Necip Fazıl Kısakürek Conference Hall, Şükran Özdemir, Deputy Director of Nursing Services at Bursa Acıbadem Hospitals, will deliver a talk on “Career Planning in Healthcare: Patient Care Management and Professional Development”.

This afternoon at 2.00 pm, Ahmet Özhan will meet with the audience in the Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Lecture Hall, accompanied by a performer of ‘Turkish Sufi Music’. At the same time, in the Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar Conference Hall, Zeynep Bayraktutan, a TRT Radio Programme Producer and Presenter, will deliver a presentation entitled “Careers in Design-Focused Media Sectors: The Power of Narrative, Visual Communication and Communication Skills”. The final session of the day will take place at 14:00 in the Necip Fazıl Kısakürek Conference Hall, featuring the “Culture2Commerce: From Cultural Heritage to Global Markets” event organised by BANUKAY and the International Trade Student Society.
On the second day of the event, Wednesday 21 May at 10.00 am, Dr Rana Kasapoğlu Önder, Head of the Communications Department at the Turkish National Agency, will deliver a presentation titled “The Power of Communication in Your Career Journey: Opportunities in the Public and Private Sectors” in the Prof. Dr Aziz Sancar Conference Hall. At 11.00 am in the Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Conference Hall, Specialist Physiotherapist Recep Lokmanoğlu will meet with participants to deliver a presentation on “From Clinic to Career: Specialisation, Practice and Professional Orientations in the Field of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation”. DHL eCommerce Marmara Regional Supervisor Taner Sarı will deliver a presentation titled “The International Career Journey with DHL eCommerce and Global Trade” at 11.30 am in the Necip Fazıl Kısakürek Conference Hall.

On the same day at 2.00 pm in the Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar Lecture Hall, Retired Ambassador Ali Rıza Çolak will give a presentation entitled “Diplomacy, Economy and Global Governance: A Strategic Roadmap for Young Professionals”. At the same time in the Necip Fazıl Kısakürek Conference Hall, Dr Şeref Kocaman will deliver a presentation entitled “AI-Supported Graphic Design”. Meanwhile, in the Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Conference Hall, TMC Consultancy will contribute to the programme with a session on “Education and Employment Opportunities in the Healthcare Sector in Germany”.

On Thursday 22 May, the third and final day of Career Days, Abdurrahman Demir will speak at 11.00 am in the Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar Conference Hall.

The final sessions of the event will begin at 2.00 pm. In the Prof. Dr. Aziz Sancar Conference Hall, the session titled “Strategic Transformation and Career Opportunities in the Energy Sector: Perspectives from Industry, the Public Sector and Academia”, featuring İbrahim Kılıçarslan, General Manager of İşbir Elektrik, as the speaker, will be moderated by Prof. Dr. Serap Palaz Çakır. At the same time, in the Necip Fazıl Kısakürek Conference Hall, representatives from Yemtar Makina Sanayi ve Tic. A.Ş., Seren Yavuz and Cihan Bademci, will present on “Shaping the Future of Agricultural Technologies: A Journey from Engineering to Career at Yemtar”.
