Events are being organised as part of Cancer Awareness Week, 1–7 April

The Faculty of Health Sciences at Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University will be hosting a meaningful event to raise awareness as part of Cancer Awareness Week, which runs from 1 to 7 April. The event, entitled ‘Medicine, Psychology and Social Solidarity in the Fight Against Cancer’, will address the importance of a multidisciplinary approach in the fight against cancer. The event will take place on Thursday, 2 April 2026, at 13:00, in the Nazım Hikmet Conference Hall, located within the Central Lecture Block.

All academic and administrative staff, as well as our students, are invited to this event, which will explore the process of coping with cancer from the perspectives of medicine, psychology and social support.
