An online event was organized to raise awareness about Alzheimer's disease.

An online event was held at our university to raise public awareness about Alzheimer's disease. Organized by the Social Responsibility and Volunteerism Coordination Office, the event focused on the importance of recognizing the disease and early diagnosis.

Dr. Burcu Eray, Assistant Professor from the Department of Neurology at BANU Faculty of Medicine, provided comprehensive information on the symptoms, risk factors, and early diagnosis processes of Alzheimer's disease. The session was moderated by Associate Professor Dr. Arzu Bulut, a faculty member of our department.

The online event, held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 2:00 PM, was attended by numerous students as well as academic and administrative staff.

The program, themed "Awareness is the first step to early diagnosis," emphasized the importance of increasing knowledge about Alzheimer's disease for public health. The event was considered not only informative but also a significant step towards early diagnosis and public awareness.
