An information and term orientation training was held for our 2nd grade students
Our department's second-year students received information and semester orientation training on February 25, 2026, conducted by our academic and career advisor, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arzu BULUT. The orientation program provided comprehensive information aimed at strengthening students' adaptation to academic and administrative processes. This included: academic, career, and student counseling services for students with disabilities; counseling appointment systems on our website; smoke-free campus policy; exchange programs; double major/minor opportunities; quality processes; exam rules; and student responsibilities under the Education, Teaching, and Examination Regulations. Furthermore, students were informed about the increasing number of fraud cases involving the use of IBAN numbers. Explanations were also provided regarding the suggestions, opinions, and complaints section located under the contact menu on the department's website. The goal of this second-year orientation training is to positively contribute to students' academic lives by increasing their awareness of departmental and university processes.
