Alumni Experience Sharing Seminar 5 - An event featuring inspiring experiences from our alumni was held

The “Alumni Experience Sharing Seminar-5,” organized by the Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University Health Management Department Alumni Tracking and Evaluation Committee, was successfully held online on Friday, December 26, 2025.

The seminar featured guest speakers Yasemin Özdil (Head of Cleaning Services at Kocaeli City Hospital ISS) and Tolgahan Özecik (Manager of Cleaning Services at Kocaeli City Hospital ISS), both graduates of the department. The event was moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yasemin Aslan and Student Representative Helin Özege.

During the seminar, the guests shared their career journeys in the field of health management, the challenges they faced while climbing the career ladder, their professional experiences in the sector, and career planning suggestions for students. Topics such as the transition to professional life after graduation, career opportunities in the private sector, and the development of management skills were particularly followed with interest by the students.

The event was productive in terms of helping students shape their own career goals by drawing inspiration from alumni experiences. The program concluded after a question-and-answer session.

As the Department of Health Management, we plan to continue organizing such events that bring together our graduates and students in the coming periods.
