Our Faculty Members' Project Has Been Approved For Funding By TÜBİTAK

The project titled “The Effect of Whole-Body Vibration Therapy on Muscle Mechanical Properties and Motor Development in Preterm Infants: A Randomized Controlled Single-Blind Study,” prepared by faculty members of our Faculty of Health Sciences, has been awarded funding under the TÜBİTAK 1002 Rapid Support Program.

The project is led by Dr. Derya Azim, a faculty member from the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation. Dr. Nurten Nas Kırdar from the Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, and Dr. Şule Keçelioğlu from the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Faculty of Health Sciences, are researchers in the project. The project advisor is our Vice Rector and faculty member from the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Ebru Kaya Mutlu.

The project will investigate the effects of whole-body vibration therapy on muscle mechanical properties and motor development in preterm infants. The study aims to support early motor development and improve muscle function.
