The graduation ceremonies for the Faculty of Health Sciences were held with great joy and enthusiasm at the Mehmet Akif Ersoy Conference Hall, organized into three separate programs: one for the Department of Nursing; one for the Departments of Health Management and Social Work; and one for the Departments of Nutrition and Dietetics and Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation. Hosted by the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Eseceli, the ceremonies were attended by Vice-Rectors Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Serel, Prof. Dr. Ebru Kaya Mutlu, and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Erçakar; former Rector of Piri Reis University Prof. Dr. Oral Erdoğan; Deputy Secretary General of the Turkish Shipbuilders' Association (GİSBİR) Ercan Özokutucu; Secretary General Faruk Küçük; as well as academic and administrative staff, students, and their esteemed families.

Following a moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem, the program began with the screening of the University’s promotional film. Delivering the opening address, the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Eseceli, congratulated the graduating students and wished them success in their professional lives. Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Ebru Kaya Mutlu also delivered a welcoming speech, congratulating the graduates who would serve in the healthcare sector and expressing her hope that they would lead successful professional lives guided by conscience and adherence to ethical values.

The graduation ceremony for the Department of Nursing took place during the first program. As part of the event, certificates of achievement and plaques were presented to the top-ranking students of the department by the Vice-Rectors, the Dean, and the Head of the Nursing Department. During the ceremony, master's students from the Department of Nursing created moving moments by taking the stage to represent Florence Nightingale—the founder of modern nursing—and Safiye Hüseyin Elbi, a pioneer of Turkish nursing. Subsequently, the Head of the Nursing Department, Prof. Dr. Latife Utaş Akhan, administered the professional oath to the graduating students. The program concluded with the students enthusiastically tossing their caps into the air and sharing the joy of graduation with their families.

The second event featured the graduation ceremony for our Health Management and Social Work departments. During the ceremony, certificates of achievement and plaques were presented to top-ranking students—led by Büşra Bal, a Health Management student who ranked first in both the faculty and the university—by our Vice-Rectors, Dean, and the relevant department heads and their deputies. Subsequently, Research Assistants Havva Nur Atalay and Sultan Tekinyer Çiçek led the students in reciting their professional oaths. The program continued with a group commemorative photo featuring the students alongside our academic and administrative staff. The graduation event, marked by great enthusiasm, concluded with the excitement of the students tossing their caps.

The final ceremony of the day was the graduation program for our Nutrition and Dietetics and Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation departments. During this ceremony, certificates of achievement and plaques were presented to the top-ranking graduates by our Vice-Rectors, Dean, Vice-Deans, and the relevant department heads. Following this, our Vice-Rector and Head of the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department, Prof. Dr. Ebru Kaya Mutlu, and our Head of the Nutrition and Dietetics Department, Prof. Dr. Uğur Günşen, administered the professional oaths to the students.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the students gathered with our academic and administrative staff for a group commemorative photo. The graduation event, filled with great enthusiasm, ended with the excitement of the students tossing their caps. We congratulate all our graduates who have successfully completed their programs and are set to shoulder significant responsibilities in the healthcare sector, and we wish them success, health, and happiness in this new chapter of their lives.

Graduation Ceremonies Held at Our Faculty
