The White Coat Ceremony for our students of the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department of the Faculty of Health Sciences took place on April 8th, National Physiotherapists Day.

The ceremony, held in the Nazım Hikmet Conference Hall, was attended by our General Secretary Faruk Küçük, Dean of our Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Eseceli, Dean of our Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Ayşe Güldem Kilciler, Director of our Vocational School of Health Services Dr. Fatma Nur Yılmaz, our academic and administrative staff, our students, and their esteemed families.

The program began with a moment of silence and the recitation of the National Anthem. The opening speech was delivered by the Vice Head of the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department, Assoc. Dr. Gülhan Yılmaz Gökmen.

Speaking at the ceremony was the Dean of our Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Eseceli expressed his pleasure at being together with our students on such a meaningful day, drawing attention to the importance of the physiotherapy profession in the field of health and wishing our students success. He also concluded his speech by celebrating National Physiotherapists Day for physiotherapists and our physiotherapy student candidates.

Following the program, our general secretary, deans, and faculty members presented the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department students with their white coats. These meaningful moments, symbolizing their first step into the profession, were met with pride and excitement by our students and their families. The ceremony concluded with a group photo taken to commemorate the day.
