A "White Coat and Professional Oath Ceremony" was held in our Nutrition and Dietetics Department.

 

The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at our University's Faculty of Health Sciences organized a "White Coat and Professional Oath Ceremony" to symbolize our students' first steps into their professional lives within the scope of the 2025-2026 academic year.

 

The ceremony, held in the Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Conference Hall, was attended by our Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Serel and Prof. Dr. Ebru Kaya Mutlu, our Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Eseceli, our Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences Prof. Dr. Serkan Hacıcaferoğlu, our Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Dr. Tilbe Erten Almak, our Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Assoc. Dr. Didem Ayhan, our Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences Prof. Dr. Aydın Karaçam, our Head of the Nursing Department Prof. Dr. Latife Utaş Akhan, and our Coordinator of the Accessible University Student Unit Assoc. Dr. The ceremony was attended by Büşra Süngü, our academic and administrative staff, our students, and their esteemed families.

The ceremony began with a moment of silence and the recitation of the Turkish National Anthem. Opening speeches were given by our Head of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Prof. Dr. Uğur Günşen, and our Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Eseceli. Following this, our Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Serel, expressed his pleasure at being present at this meaningful ceremony organized by the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics and wished our students success in their professional lives.

After the protocol speeches, the students of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics were presented with their white coats. These coats, symbolizing the students' commitment to the ethical values ​​of their profession and their responsibility to serve public health, were presented by our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Serel, Prof. Dr. Ebru Kaya Mutlu, our Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Eseceli, and our faculty members.

As part of the program, certificates of achievement were presented to our students who completed their studies with honors and success, and the students took their professional oath under the supervision of our Head of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, Prof. Dr. Uğur Günşen, and our Deputy Head of Department, Assoc. Dr. Hacı Ömer Yılmaz.

The program concluded with a group photo taken to commemorate the day.
