An Information Meeting on the Professional Practice Course was held for students of the Department of Health Management by the Applied Training Committee. The meeting was conducted under the leadership of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yasemin ASLAN, Chair of the Applied Training Committee, with the participation of the committee members. During the meeting, students were provided with detailed information about the purpose, scope, and implementation process of the Professional Practice course. The issues that students should consider throughout the practice period, procedures regarding the institutions where the professional practice will take place, attendance requirements, student responsibilities, and obligations to be fulfilled within the scope of the course were discussed. The importance of the Professional Practice course in enabling students to apply the theoretical knowledge and skills acquired during their undergraduate education in a practical setting was also emphasized. Information was provided on how gaining first-hand experience of different administrative units and working processes within healthcare institutions can contribute to students’ professional knowledge and experience and help prepare them for their future careers. At the end of the meeting, students’ questions regarding the Professional Practice course and its implementation process were answered, and further clarification was provided on relevant issues. The meeting aimed to support students in completing their Professional Practice process in a more informed, effective, and productive manner.
