Cadaver-Based Injection Techniques Training Conducted
A "Cadaver-Based Injection Techniques Training" session was held on October 5, 2026, for second-year nursing students, organized through the collaboration of the Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University Faculty of Health Sciences (Department of Nursing) and the Faculty of Medicine.
During the training, held at the Faculty of Medicine’s Anatomy Laboratory, students gained knowledge regarding the anatomical foundations of injection procedures, the identification of correct injection sites, the recognition of high-risk anatomical structures, and safe injection techniques. Hands-on practice using cadavers enabled students to reinforce their theoretical knowledge and directly examine anatomical structures.
The training, which attracted great interest from the students, concluded successfully, featuring both theoretical and practical sessions.
We extend our gratitude to the organizing committee and the training team for their efforts in planning and executing the event, and especially to Asst. Prof. Dr. Reşad Beyoğlu for his significant contributions through his valuable knowledge and experience. We also thank the Faculty of Medicine for their collaboration.
The aim is to continue such educational activities that contribute to the development of the professional knowledge and skills of nursing students.
