Awareness Event Held as Part of World Stop Pressure Injuries Day

In line with the awareness materials prepared by the Wound Ostomy Incontinence Nurses Association (YOİHD) for World Pressure Injury Day, a poster display event was held in our department on November 20, 2025, with our students.

Prior to the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Berna Köktürk Dalcalı, Head of the Department of Fundamentals of Nursing, provided comprehensive information to students about the prevention and early diagnosis of pressure injuries. We thank her for her valuable contributions.

We would like to thank our Department Head, Prof. Dr. Latife Utaş Akhan, for her participation and support in the event.

This event aimed to raise awareness among our students about the prevention of pressure injuries. We thank all our academic staff and students for their contributions.
