Social Work Community Organizes a Meaningful Program within the Scope of International Day of Persons with Disabilities

Our University's Social Work Community organizes a special program within the scope of 3 December International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The main subject of the program is the “Koçum Babam Project”, which is one of the most comprehensive projects in the field of disability in our country.

What is Koçum Babam Project?

With the “Koçum Babam Project” prepared by the Turkish Federation of the Spastic Disabled and supported by the Ministry of Interior, it is aimed that fathers will provide life coaching to their children, various social activities are carried out by forming groups, especially willing fathers, and 40 hours of theoretical and practical training are provided.

In addition, "Koçum Babam Project" was shot as a documentary and 13 episodes were broadcast on TRT Avaz.

Koçum Babam documentary was introduced on TRT AVAZ with the following expressions

“We special children are not alone in this world. We have loved ones who are there for us in every need. Most of all, my father. That man is my father, my dear father, my coach my father…”
