About the Seminar on Neurophysiology of Learning

Within the scope of our university's “in Beginning of the Century of Türkiye” seminar series, a seminar titled “Neurophysiology of Learning” was organized in cooperation with our department and BANU-FTR Application and Research Center.
Our Vice Rector and Head of Department Dear Prof. Dr. Ebru KAYA MUTLU, BANU-FTR Application and Research Center Director and Co-Head of Department Dear Assist. Prof. Burçin AKÇAY, as well as academic and administrative staff, students and citizens attended the seminar held in the Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Conference Hall.
In the program where Dear PT Oğuz GÜCİN was the invited speaker, how neurons and neural networks in the brain work and the neurological basis of learning processes were discussed. Also in the seminar; learning processes were explained through the brain activity, synaptic connections, memory processes, the role of attention and motivation.
After answering the questions from the guests, the seminar ended by presenting a certificate of participation to our invited speaker Dear PT Oğuz GÜCİN by one of our department faculty members, Dear Assist. Prof. Derya AZİM.
